07 Nov 3 Stylish Looks for Olive Green Pants
Olive green is the central color for fall. The awesome thing about this color is that it compliments all skin tones. I have yet to see someone who wears this color and looks terrible in it. This is why it’s imperative to incorporate this color into your fall wardrobe. It can act as a neutral color, which allows you the opportunity to easily build outfits around it. I am going to give you 3 different looks centered around these skinny jeans that I got from Old Navy a couple of years ago.
A: 1. Classic, 2. Comfortable 3. Chic looks. Thanksgiving is in 2 weeks and that means a lot of delicious food, parties, and of course family dinners. Ladies this is a great time to experiment and step out of your comfort zone and see which look really speaks to you. You don’t only have to wear these looks for Thanksgiving, you could easily incorporate them into your everyday fall wardrobe. Some of these looks may overlap as being comfortable and chic, but that’s ok. So enough talking let’s get on with the looks:
Casual/Comfortable Look: Nothing says casual and comfortable than a sweater. After all, we are in sweater weather, for some parts of the world. The cozy feeling of the fabric against your skin and the ability to nestle in it when the wind blows against your face. ( I am actually missing the brisk weather in Maryland right now) I digress, easy to move around in and very comfortable. With this outfit, I chose Riding boots for my footwear. Riding boots are the most comfortable boots you will ever own and keep you warm especially if you are living in a colder climate. Not to mention how cute and chic they are when paired with skinny pants like this one. I kept the colors neutral sticking with brown throughout the outfit. Very comfortable look.

Sweater old from Old Navy: similar
Olive green pants old from Old Navy: similar
Frye boots from Nordstrom’s: similar
Classic Look: Now for some people a Chambray shirt is not the first thing you think of when you speak of a classic piece, but I think it has cemented its self in that category because of its versatility. It adds structure to your outfit which allows the look to feel classic. I paired it with the olive green pants, a statement necklace, and to add a pop of color red flats, which ties nicely into the outfit. The statement necklace is also a very classic piece because of its ability to add class to any outfit without looking like you tried to hard. You probably recognize this piece from another post found here. and here. Because it is the same necklace. But could you blame me? It practically goes with everything and I get a ton of compliments when I wear it. Have you ever noticed that one necklace or scarf that pulls together an entire outfit? Like if you didn’t add that accessory the outfit would feel incomplete. There is an actual rule for this called, “The rule of thirds”. This goes for that last piece usually an accessory or a jacket that completes a look. The statement necklace does that for this outfit. Walmart came through!!
