The Blazer

A blazer can be transformed between masculine, feminine, formal, preppy, trendy, casual or sexy just from one piece! It is truly a chameleon on how it can be styled! That’s why this an essential staple because you can wear it in a variety of settings and depending on your mood you will be able to create a different look with this piece every time. We are in the fall season and Blazers are a great transition piece because you can layer. Whether you decide to wear it with a t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, or a scarf to keep you warm, blazers will add that finesse to your outfit. That’s part of their charm. To get the best fit:

Make sure the buttons can be buttoned and unbuttoned even if you keep it open

Even if the blazer may be a little too big or small you could always have it tailored for a more fitted and posh look

The length of the blazer or sleeve is personal preference. This blazer is one of my favorites from my collection because of the pronounced shoulders and color blocking on the collar. It has an angled cut and more fitted making this one a more trendy piece, but because of the color makes it classic. I have owned this blazer for almost 4 years!! And it still looks effortless and chic.

For a grown and sexy approach I wore this blazer with stretch jeans, which is distressed at the knee for added edge, kept the color scheme simple by wearing all black, and to add a pop of color to the outfit I added these gorgeous suede burgundy pumps that I got at Ross for a steal! This is a great outfit for date night or a night on the town with the girls!
