22 Sep Fall Outfit Idea: Blazer and Ankle Boots
Hi everyone. It’s fall! One of my favorite seasons of the year. The season of transition. We welcome back NFL football. Go Redskins!! All your favorite television shows premiere their new seasons. The weather becomes milder and you feel the crisp wind blowing on your face and through your hair.
The leaves begin to change into the most beautiful shades of amber, red-orange, green, and brown colors. Starbucks changes their drink menu to the seasonal drinks (Love the hot apple cider spice). Most importantly we have to transition from our summer clothes to fall. I mentioned in another blog post I moved to Houston about a year ago and I found out quickly there is no fall! That’s one of the things I’ll truly miss. But, when there is a break from the heat I try to pull out my favorite fall pieces and wear them at least once.
For me, fall means wearing blazers, boots, dark shades of lipstick, dark nail polish, recently hats, and my favorite accessory scarves. I’ll have to wait a couple of months for that one! To keep the spirit of the season I wore a boyfriend blazer, tribal print shirt, a pair of shorts (it’s still quite warm down here), and my favorite black “Chelsea boots” I got from Hautelook. These “Chelsea boots” are everything!
They are so comfortable and are a nice alternative to sneakers in the Fall. The Blazer adds structure but still keeps the look casual, comfortable, and chic. (the 3 c’s I live by!!) I decided to wear this Chanel inspired cross body bag with gold clasp and chain handle. Small details like this really bring a unique touch to the bag. The quilted texture of the bag makes it feel and look more expensive than it really is. Gold and black anything is a great combo and great to wear in fall.

Let’s not forget about this Fedora!! The hat takes this entire outfit to another level. I was never a hat person but when I saw this one online at Hautelook a year ago I hit that add to cart button so fast! The hat pulls the outfit together and commands attention when entering a room. You have to exude confidence when wearing this kind of hat. Without the hat, the outfit would fall flat. What are some of your favorite must-haves for fall? I’m dying to know!!
